»Self-Regulation of the Press in Germany and Great Britain« The thesis examines the success of the self-regulation of the press in Germany fulfilled by the German Press Council. Recommendations for action for a successful future are developed and examined for their legal feasibility. In addition, the British model of press self-regulation is compared to the German one to show differences and similarities, as well as to explore suggestions and proposals for improvement for the future.
