»The Criteria and the Procedure for the Election of Ordinary Court Judges in Europe from a Comparative Perspective« The conference proceedings contain presentations held on 16th March 2018 in Frankfurt (Oder). This study does not only provide an overview of the criteria and the procedure for the election of judges in Poland, Germany (notably in the State of Brandenburg), Austria, Switzerland, England and Wales as well as in France, but also offers a comparison of the models implemented by these countries and conclusions regarding the similarities and differences between the provisions in their legal systems.
