»Modification of Occupational Pension Commitments. The »Drei-Stufen-Modell« of the German Federal Labour Court«: The so called »Drei-Stufen-Modell«, with which the German Federal Labour Court subjects the subsequent amendment of occupational pension commitments to an effectiveness check, has immense practical significance. This study addresses the question of the legitimacy of the model. With a critical assessment of the existing controversial discourse as well as European law influences, the study particularly reveals dogmatic weaknesses and offers possible solutions along with a legislative proposal.
